Ten thousand NPCs
New zones, dungeons and full quest arcs across the Glacierlands, Cliffwood Naze, Talon’s Edge and the Ardent Vale, including the Leont City questline, the Frostfright Curse, the Brookberry Battles and an expanded Harbourview Crypt.

Alpha testing
A week in Adrullan, two servers, and the Siege of Leont.
Our longest test yet, Wednesday to Monday. Since the last one, the world went from 1,500 NPC spawns to over 10,000, every class was touched, and the interface was rebuilt from scratch.
For the first time, Ballast and Fenla ran as fully independent servers. Ballast kept your characters from earlier tests, and Fenla, launched in December, offered the closest thing yet to a launch-day start.
Post-mortem
Both servers held 100% uptime across all 125 hours, with Fenla running on just 8 cores. No crashes, no server lag. You formed 24,474 groups, died 62,799 times, and put down 3,486 Finks along the way.
The community split almost evenly between the two servers, and each started to grow its own personality: Ballast leaned toward Rangers, Druids and Summoners, Fenla toward Beastwardens, Warriors and Shamans. Druid was the most played class again, followed by Necromancer and Bard. Humans led the races, with the Ashkin a strong second.
On the last night we ran the Siege of Leont on both servers. The dead rose from Harbourview, Gravenor the Defiled marched on the walls, and The Awoken split the earth and walked free for the first time. On Ballast and on Fenla, you held. Leont stands because of you.
Solendris, our city of elves, along with new character models and a rebuilt character creation screen.
What’s new

New zones, dungeons and full quest arcs across the Glacierlands, Cliffwood Naze, Talon’s Edge and the Ardent Vale, including the Leont City questline, the Frostfright Curse, the Brookberry Battles and an expanded Harbourview Crypt.
Damage scales with weapon DPS now, so gear upgrades actually matter. Necromancers summon Dread commanders who lead their own minions, Druids can turn into a wolf, Bards found their place in groups, and Summoners field up to five elemental pets at once.
Rebuilt from scratch, with paperdoll rotation, item comparison on hover, spell sets, a mail system, a social window and a recipe book. Unlimited View Distance, which started life as BognarVision, was on by default.

Ogre Beastwardens begin in a new village carved straight into a glacier at the edge of the Frostfall Glacierlands, before joining their Osgulian kin at the Brookberry Battles.

The finale, run on both servers on the last night.

- 🌍 World & Quests — Expanded world events and quests to include the Ogre Beastwarden starting city, Frostborne Village.
- The Frostfright Curse questline and event in the Ancestral Ruins and new lowbie dungeon, Stilljaw Caverns.

- 💻 UI & Accessibility — User interface upgrades! Check out the new recipe book (Tools window), character sheet paperdoll rotation with drag, HP% on pet windows, improved tooltips, color-coded chat filters, and Far Clip Plane (aka BognarVision™).
- 🛠️ Items & Crafting — Lots of new gear and recipes: unique loot added to rare camps and bosses, crafting recipes extended (more metals and components) and crafting created gear revamped, and default stats on many weapons/armor have been tuned.
- ❗ Quality & Polish — Hundreds of bug fixes and behind-the-scenes improvements: performance optimizations, Ambient Occlusion enhancements for better visuals, pet AI and leash fixes, and all sorts of small easter eggs and secrets waiting to be discovered!
🧑🤝🧑 Races & Start Zones
- Humans — Leont or Greenwood Cover
- Halflings — Willowbrook
- Ogres — Osgul or Frostborne Village
- Half-Elves — Treated as Humans for now
- Ashkin / Dryads — Visual variants of Humans
