Osgul
The homeland of the Ogres opened for its first full test, with Ogres starting there. It wasn’t as built out as Leont yet, and only some of its crafters were in.

Alpha testing
Osgul opens, and the crowd arrives.
A full weekend in Adrullan, and the first big test with Osgul, the homeland of the Ogres, open beside Leont and Greenwood Cover. Humans could take up the Ranger and the Beastlord, and the first crafting stations went up in Leont.
Thousands of you poured into one small corner of a very large world. As we kept reminding everyone that weekend, Adrullan has 12 races across many cities. This was the most crowded it would ever be.
Post-mortem
In 60 hours, 3,132 of you played more than an hour, 200 passed 20 hours, and 14 passed 40. Together you crafted 1,109,667 items and earned 6,525,613 skill-ups.
The favorite combinations were Ogre Shaman, Dark Elf Necromancer, Wood Elf Druid, Human Beastlord and Ogre Shadow Knight. Druid was the most played class overall, and Wizard the least.
We ran two server configurations over the weekend, moving everyone from Fenla to Tibolt on day two, and performance held up even with that many players packed together. Our Discord, YouTube and Twitter followings all more than doubled.

What’s new

The homeland of the Ogres opened for its first full test, with Ogres starting there. It wasn’t as built out as Leont yet, and only some of its crafters were in.
Humans could take up the Ranger and the Beastlord, beginning their journey in Greenwood Cover with a first set of quests and abilities.

The first crafting stations went up in Leont, with a limited set of recipes and a passive crafting style. Osgul got a few of its own.
What NPCs and players said could now appear over their heads, and damage numbers floated up from your targets. Both were early, and both could be switched off.
On Saturday we pushed client 0.8.11 and moved everyone from Fenla to a second server, Tibolt. Characters, progress, corpses and friends all came along.

Our first test as Adrullan Online Adventures: five hours to push the server as hard as we could, with Willowbrook and the Bard class to explore and multi-boxing encouraged. The BogBot Armada gathered at the gates of Leont, and Bognar was still bored.

A week later it was Ballast’s turn. Characters from the Tibolt flash test came along, and the Open Pre-Alpha channels opened back up.
